Call For Papers
This is a Call for Papers request for our 2008 HTCIA/ASIS
Training Conference for May 2008 in South San Francisco, CA.
The focus this year is on Investigations and Technologies
which support the Investigation of High Tech Crime. If you
have a specific topic in which you have developed expertise
and are willing to share with our members, then I encourage
you to complete a Training Presentation request, format
attached, and submit it to me as soon as possible. If you
aren't able to be a presenter, but know of someone who would
consider being a presenter, please provide me with their
contact information.
Some of the topics in which we have specific requests for
presenters:
- BIOTECH IPR Investigations
- Basic/Intermediate Investigations
- Interviewing and Interrogation
- Setting up an eDiscovery Program within the
corporation
- Video and Audio Surveillance - Basic
- Video and Audio Surveillance - Intermediate
- C-Level Close Protection - Issues for Domestic and
International Travel
- C-Level Data Protection When Travelling
- Identity Theft
- Lock Picking
- "I have just been hacked -- What do I do?"
- VPN Security Issues and Recommendations
These are just some of the requests made over the
past few months and are not exclusive. If you have an
idea for a class, please submit a presentation request.

are asking all participants to please use this format
for simplicity sake and to return it as a Word Doc file.
